25 Days of Etsy Christmas gifts. Day Sixteen: British Columbia

it's been my pleasure to look up and share great etsy gift suggestions with you over the last two weeks or so but, as of now and until the end of this list, i'll be featuring shops run by my homies. we'll look at etsy shops based in canada first, and then we'll finish this off with five days of montreal shops.

(i considered many things when deciding which shops should be featured and i hope that any friends who have shops but did not meet the criteria don't take it personally.)

today, we head over to canada's pacific coast and take a look at ten shops based in beautiful british columbia.

1. there was no way i could not kick off this list with some handcrafted, native american wares and art from above is the british columbia-based etsy shop to procure gorgeous pieces featuring haida iconography.

2. although wearable artz is primarily a shop for bridal accessories, most woman would feel beautiful in one of their shrugs/boleros and their sparkly, feminine jewelry. i know many people who wear birdcage veils to a variety of events and so i decided that this shop had to make it into this list.

3. i love the simplistic, clean, crisp and rustic feel to quotes and notes.

4. i found a handful of soap and beauty product shops in british columbia but two blooms design studio stood out, with regards to originality, packaging and product range.

5. i'm digging kitty empire and their lovely, handcrafted vinyl bags, purses and wallets.

6. i came across so many jewelry shops based in bc but three of them stood out. the second one is tomo jewelry. simple but original, classy with a flare, this shop is loaded with amazing gift ideas. we'll see the third shop later on...

7. check out rebecca bessette's shop for a great selection of over seven hundred knitted items. i just finished adding a few of them to favourites list and i know i'll be back for more.

8. in addition to having a witty name, wooda cooda boasts a nice array of handcrafted wood items i'm sure at least one person on your list would love!

9. i was really drawn to free lion productions' tim burton-esque, signature swirl. i love all of their designs' clean lines and general craftsmanship.

10. last but certainly not least, the third jewelry shop that really got my attention (and holds it) is handforged sterling silver by cg whitfield. these photos speak for themselves but be sure to peruse this beautiful shop!

tomorrow we'll look at shops based in the prairies!

Holy crap!! It took me a split second to register and then I whooped and clapped, when I realized who wrote this! It's good to hear from you, lady miss. So good.

And thank you very much for the kind words!! I'm glad you like what I'm doing. :-)

I've found some lovely things from out your way; the issue is going to be narrowing it down for this evening's piece! ;-)
