25 Days of Etsy Christmas Gifts. Day Three: The Tea Drinker

and now for handcrafted items on etsy that will be perfect for the tea drinker on your list! support artisans and small businesses, folks. 


1. this blog is entitled montreal style, fashion and sewing and so, soon, i'll be posting three days of gift suggestions that come from etsy shops based in la metropole. you will get to see more of purpose design at that point but i could not help but kick this list off with julie's amazing chai tea kit with recipe and organic spices. this kit made it to the front page of etsy and i can definitely see why. at $35 CAD, it is affordable and will impress the tea drinker on your list for sure.

2. the twelve teas of christmas boxed gift set is another beautifully packaged and fungift to give. it's going for $38 USD and can be found on amitea, a lovely shop based in plattsburgh, ny.

3. i'm proud to share an item from another canadian shop with you. check out the night before christmas black loose leaf tea  for $7 USD, as well as the other creative and yummy blends found at  lux berry tea, a shop based in winnipeg, manitoba.

4. i must admit that i was happy i wasn't sipping tea when i came across this lionel richie tea for one set or it may have come out my nose. at $38 USD, it's well worth ordering this for the tea lover (with a sense of humour) on your list. 

and i know i have yet to post two gift suggestions from the same shop but i have to, this time, given that lenny mud also sells this for $18 USD...

...in addition to a "mr.tea" tea pot. having spotted the tardis, a storm trooper and frankenstein's monster, i say you should take a few minutes and check this shop out, right now! also, you're welcome for getting lionel richie stuck in your head for the next week. 

5. if you know a tea drinker who also really likes alice in wonderland inspired art and housewares, check out this red tea pot lamp, made by patty, for $80 USD, over at thistle and jug. the shop alos boasts similar lamps in black or white. 

6. i found a lot of great items at casa murriguez but the gift idea that absolutely had to make this list is this tea lover's gift set for $48USD. the rustic packaging and extra items that come with the actual tea make for a lovely gift. 

7. how adorable is this tea pot necklace?! it's only $18 USD and for $3, irin sky will gift wrap it for you. this shop is loaded with beautiful items and i know that i'll be posting another one of brandy's items in another list so stay tuned for that!

8. speaking of tea pot jewelry that makes you say "aw!", i also love these green, tea pot drop earrings that are a super affordable $3.50 USD. check out the dappy bint for the same earrings in different colours.

9. this next gift comes in two parts. 
part one: the wooden tea box made by wood power for $20 USD. check out the shop for their dark brown box, if you don't like this one's tint. 

part two: this amazing deal on 75 tea bags for $9.50 USD from teaman. arrange the latter into the former and voila!

10. i'm quite fond of this hand stamped tea and jam spoon and knife set for $27.99 USD. packaged in a wooden box lined with velvet or as part of a tea-lover's basket, this could really make for a heartwarming holiday present. and why stop at the holidays? stamp gallery has a great assortment of gifts for almost any occasion so be sure to check them out!
