For almost a year, the only capacity under which I had been covering local events was for a blog directed at models, in an effort to inform them about local events. While I appreciate the opportunity to not only immerse myself in the Montreal fashion scene but to write about it, no matter the context, I must say that I'm quite happy with my decision to start covering shows for my own blog, as well.

Product Review: Handcrafted, Cedar Soap Deck

nine days ago, i ordered this lovely handcrafted, cedar soap deck from t and j soaps, an etsy shop based in albany, new york. not only did it arrive quickly (i received it yesterday) but theresa added a sample of their oatmeal, milk and honey soap to my package and it smells and feel wonderful. i always appreciate when sellers add a little something to personalize the purchase and/or to simply make you smile. the deck itself is well-made and, having already used cedar products in the bathroom, i know it will last a long time. i'll definitely be back for more!
